will my 91 FS blazr rims fit on my dads 2001 silverado?

what about the tires....isn't the back spacing and having the 2001 having disc's all around make a problem

no - i believe the '99up trucks are hub centric, as opposed to the earlier models trucks that are lug centric

they wont fit....they will go on- but they will hit the caliper's..we tried to put some rims on our 99 that were on our 94 and they did NOT fit...they actually ended up putting some stress cracks in them, and the rims are now basically junk...

heres an idea...try one. place it on there and see if you can spin it with no weight on the tire, as in by hand in the air not driving it.
You never know til you try it, there are too many varibles..backspacing, rim width, tire width.....

i know a 2001 rim will fit on a 1990 truck and a 1996 suburban..my friends uncle has stock 2001 silverado rims on both.

The backspacing is different. 3 1/2" for the old body style, and 5 1/2" for the new stuff. They will bolt on (if the wheels clear the brakes), but the tires will stick out of the wheel wells.
