Will Springs fit ?

I drive an '89 Blazer. I want to lift it 6 inches eventually. I want to do the ORD 4" shackle flip in the rear with 2" springs and then 6" springs in the front. My question is.. A buddy of mine has 6" superlift front springs off of his '76 Blazer. Will these springs work on my '89 ? Thanks a lot.
