You could if you swap the input gear, it's a fairly involved swap on a 203.
Sell the 32 spline np 203 and find a 27 spline np203. There were way more 27 spline 203s produced (73-79) vs th400 32 spline models that were only available 77-79.

Well I have a couple but I believe you need a th400 with the shortest output shaft so you might have to build one with the shaft from your old one
The TH400 for a NP-203 has an even shorter tail shaft than those used on other transfer cases,so it'll be a rare one to source,so his original t-case is probably worth more than the more common TH350 variety..
