Will these 2009 chevy truck seats fit in my '90 K5?

...without too much modification? I realize the seat belt won't work as its not integral, so I figured I would stick with my stock seat belts for now.

Just deciding whether I should pick these up or not. Not a bad deal for 400 bucks. The ad says they are power, but they have manual adjustment bars by the looks of things...

I could go have a look at them tomorrow. Wouldn't hurt to pull the pass side seat and do a test fit (interior is pretty much stripped anyway)

What says the brotherhood?

Should work pretty good. They are very comfy seats, and unlike the 99-06 seats you don't have to make the mounts as sturdy to compensate for the built in belts. Heck, you could probably ditch the 09 receptial and use your factory setup there. The mounts themselves shouldn't be any worse then making a few adaptor brackets

This is what I'm thinking... Although I would eventually look for an upgrade to my burgundy seat belts. They don't retract very good and wouldn't match if I change to a charcoal interior.

I emailed the seller. Asked him if they are heated (wishfull thinking) and to clarify the power controls. I'll probably have a peek at them tomorrow if they aren't already sold.

My 07 silverado work truck I used to have was pretty loaded up and the seats were manual. It did have power lumbar, so maybe that's what he's talking about.

So I spoke to him on the phone and he says they are manual. But he did say that there are plugs under the front seats and that they do have airbags (which I wouldn't think would be safe to hook up in a different vehicle type). He also wasn't sure about whether or not they are heated (me hopes so).

He is going ski-dooing today but I may be able to have a look at them after supper or otherwise this weekend. I think the price is right, they look brand new in the pics and he says he had to pay more as he had them shipped to him only to find that they weren't the ones that he wanted as they were without the built-in seat belts.

He won't separate the seats either. I'm wondering if I could retrofit them for use in the blazer the same way as the factory rear bench works. They are the 'fold-up' type so it may not be easy. Otherwise I could try reselling the rear bench for ~$200 I'm hoping.

What says yee?

Also are these seats the same specs as the '02 silverado seats like the ones 496truck put in his blazer?

Or are the mouning points going to be totally different? Anyone know?
If they are the same and the fronts are do-able with minimal fabrication I will jump on these. I appreciate any input that you guys have.

Just from that pic the brackets look similar but different at the same time. The K5 floor is flat, making it easy to mount different seats to it. What you want to look for in the new seats is the height from foot to cushion and compare that height to your stock seats. And it's easier to work with seats where all 4 feet are on the same level.

Either way, I wouldn't pay 400 for just a pair of seats. 200 maybe. But I'm a cheap bastard.

Thanks bud. I still haven't been able to see them yet, but I may go tomorrow. Maybe he'll take $200 for them but I doubt it. Around here something that new and in good condition usually will go fast and there is no shipping.. so someone will snap it up.

This is another place that I'm looking, but I would have to pay shipping.
