I can get some 35-14.50-17 tires for free but I don't know if they'll fit on the 17x8" rims I want to put them on. Will the bead even seat and hold?? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

Thanks

They'll physically fit . Don't know what something that wide will look like on 8 inch wide rims . Usually its 12.50 wide on 8 inch wide rims that looks perfect to me . Of course if its free , why not run them /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

yes they will fit just fine. i run 39.5x13.5x16in iroks on a 6.75x16in rim /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I belive they'll fit, but in my honest opinion, would look better on either 10" wide or even 12" wide rims. I like the wider "foot print".

Thanks guys! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I currently have 35-12.50s on 15x10 rims, but I REALLY need some new shoes, so I can get the 35x17s from one source for free, and for maybe $75 for 4 from another source.

I also found some sweet Centerline rims that are 2 piece rotary forged billet, but can only get them in 17x8. Best part is that they are only $140 each!

I guess if they'll fit, i might as well do it. The 14.50s would be the extreme though, more than likely, I'd get 12.50s.

Thanks! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

Seems to me like it would burn up the middle of the tire. I guess I could be wrong. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
