I'm looking at a set of wheels for my crew build! Dana 60/14-bolt blah-blah-blah! The wheels I'm interested in are 17x8.5 with a +6mm offset and 5" backspace. Will those clear everything OK? Running 40x13.50's on them!

Do you get into the springs at all?
With my dodge dana 60, 37 12.5 tires on 4.25 back space wheels I get into the spring pack at full stuff and steering

That's what I'm trying to figure out! Seems to be a lot of info out there, but the results of searching are scattered at best. The wheels I want are 8.5" wide with 5" backspacing. I have ran several different 17x9 & 17x9.5 with 4.5" backspacing with no problem. Just wanted to hear what people had to say about the combination of tire and wheel. I would be really surprised to find out that nobody has tried this combination, but you never know! Here is the wheel I want to run!

I know that one of @82355 's buddys ran some 40's (I think) with the Silverado HD PYO wheels, which have like 6" of backspacing. I think you'll be fine.

The Dodge Dana 60 is ~2" narrower than a GM D60, plus the spring pads are wider. The GM D60's lend a lot more room there.

Awesome! Thanks fellas, I think those should work for me!

Just make sure the center of the wheel has a big enough whole to clear the d60 hub to go through it. Most of the new wheels don't accommodate for this cause they are meant to go on the IFS trucks. Have seen a lot of people get burned by that. As long as the place you order from says they will fit that same year of truck with that d60 axle, you should be fine
