A buddy of mine has a stock Chevy 400 crank and rods laying around and he wants to know if I want them. I plan on building a 383 in the near future here and I am wondering if I can use this crank and rods ? Thanks.

Like Hardcore said, use the 400 crank but use 350 rods. You can use the 400 rods but doing so will create a less than desireable rod angle. Since 5.7" rods are SO common, go with them. Sell the 400 rods to someone rebuilding a stock 400. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Don't forget you will need to have the 400 crank machined to fit the 350 mains. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
