what makes it wider the hubs? are all the upgraded shafts the same for all 14 bolts?
i think its just the hubs but im not sure if the shafts are the same or not.

why do you need upgraded shafts? have you ever even heard of someone breaking one? i happen to have a spare set that i got for free. i think they will make good pry bars.:D

no it wont work at all
ill trade you it for the 14ff in my blazer right now
minus gears and locker of course

I just started axle project. I have 14ff from Van, and when I bought it, I measured it to be about 6 and ½ inches wider than 12-bolt. Relocated spring perches, custom 15" wheels and it should work fine. Just a week ago I shaved 2" off from the pumpkin :D Need to fill the hole and mill off 1/6" off from the ring gear.

I have a 14 bolt from a van also. does anyone know if the disk brake kits will work on it too?

so if my step side needs something a little wider than i have right now i could just get the 14b out of a van and it would push the wheels out a little more?

Van 14ff axle is 3" wider than a truck 14ff and the axles are longer as well. Yes the rear disc conversion will work on the van axle.
