I have a slightly built 355 and I'm getting where i need a new muffler. I have been looking at flowmaster and found a killer deal on one on ebay. Its a 40 series 3 in (1) 2.5 out (2) and its cheap. Do you think this would be to loud. I don't wont it to be miserable to drive, but a nice good sound is always good to me.

Also if anyone has one of these mufflers and has a sound slip that would be awsome. Or if you have one how does it sound. I dont wont it to be redneck.

Thanks Ahead,
Clint

i have a similar flowmasta... i think it sounds great. Of course, I run no top, no doors and no stereo (cause I like listening to my rig)... so I dunno if that helps any or not. lol!

well i got a system and i would kinda like to hear it. I starting to lean towars a super 40 deeper and less interior resionece. I use this as my dd and i dont wont it to be to loud that its is tiering.

I am running 3 inch headers, duel 3 inch pipes and 40 series 3 inch in/out

yes it is loud, but I drive a truggy too, on my 86 I have a single pipe 3 inch in/0ut 40 series and I like it.

Keep in mind I am younger too though, but I like the sound and people know hwen I am commin:D

nah it shouldnt be that loud, my buddy has a 3 inch in/out on his 91 jimmy, nice and deep/mello, sounds good.

i got a built 350 in my truck with dual 2 1/4 inch into 2 40's dumped befor the axle, and its loud as hell, but sounds good

I will have to think about it. I do not wont it to sound redneck. I dont like people lookin at me and thinkin redneck. But then agian i dont wont to attract to much attention either.

I had a stock 350 with a single 40 series delta flow, it wasn't all that loud and sounded fairly good. My current setup has dual 40's, Hooker comps bolted to a mild 406, and 5" tips. It's a LOT louder but has better tone too.

have on my old truck and muffler was behind cab. and it was great. now i have newer truck and duel mufflers and i miss the sound of just the one muffler system.

go to there web site and its all there

I have headers, dual 2 1/4" pipes, and dual 40s with the tails exiting behind the rear tires. This is what I put on my truck to quiet it down because I used to drive it a little bit.

Nobody will ever mess with you if you have flowmasters with tailpipes...they're just not that loud.
