I bought the edelbrock performer rpm cam way back about 5 years ago when I still had my nova. Because I was young and dumb I threw together a POS 350 with this cam it it, well the building it was in burned down and I took the engine apart and never ran it or did anything with it.
I have had this sitting around for years and was thinking of what a K10 would be like with it. I am guessing its too radical for a heavy truck, but Ive been bored with the TBI swap since about the time I finished it and have been wanting a reason to build the fresh .030 over block I have.
I know I need way more compression than stock and all that, should I hang onto it or sell the thing?
Peak power was at 4500 RPM. There was about 300 ft/lbs at 2500rpm, and it looked like it dropped off dramaticly at engine speeds lower than that. Im guessing thats why the graph started at 2500 RPM.
