Will this jack work on my K5???

Looks good to me, the aluminum makes it a whole lot lighter. You might carry something like a piece of plate or wood to give it a flat surface to work from though...

Nice looking jack. My HF jack isn't much heavier and cost 10% of what this one does. This aluminum jack weighs 56 #s according to the ad. Doesn't seem to be a big weight saving. It is alot sexier looking than my HF though. The weight rating (3 tons) and height of the lift (18.5 in.) is the same.

I've got a massive 3.5 ton floor jack that'll lift my Suburban up with ease under the rear diff. Heavy focker though.

I carry a 12 ton bottle jack for any on pavement ops that a hi-lift would suck for, works good and in our trucks doesn't require a lot of pumping :wink1:

depends o how l your tires are.you can use that if you dont need to lift the truck more than an inch off the ground.most floor jacks only lift about 12 inches and that goes 19.i mine like that is fine for 35 inch tires.any higher and it would not lift high enough without brigingthe gap in between with something to lift it higher
