Will you measure your dipstick for me?

I just got a 76 crewcab and the tranny dipstick tube is a chrome aftermarket jobber that the heigth comes up to the distributor not the one that curves forward.. i have no dipstick in it and I need to know the length of the type that comes up to the dist.. im not sure if its th350 or 400 as i dont know the pan shapes by heart.

to see what tranny you have look on the home page of colorado k5 here and they have a tech section that will show you the pans, but i i were you id go junkyard lookin its gotta be a really cheap find and just clean it up

lol u guys are funny but i found a measurement of 34" long for an aftermarket chrome one at this site here http://www.hi-performance.com/ChromeComponents.htm#top hope this helps
