WINALDL Help

I've got the USB cable and software needed to use this program but cant get it to work. My application: 89 K5 5.7L 350/ 700R4 Tranny.
WinALDL is not logging but I can see data being sent by ECM via Hyper Terminal. What am I overlooking?

I tried all and no luck so far. I will try again tomorrow. What ECM should be in this truck?

Success! I was able to get it working and now what to make of the results.
