Think I found the issue. Needs to be set at lowest baud rate.
I was using 1227747 ECU type
WinALDL is specialized software designed to datalog older GM TBI vehicles (typically pre-1993) using the slow 160-baud rate, commonly found on ECMs like the 1227747 and 1227165. It runs on a PC connected to the vehicle's ALDL port, allowing real-time monitoring and data recording for fuel mapping and diagnostics.
Key Aspects of WinALDL 160-Baud Logging:
Supported ECMs: Primarily aimed at early TBI systems, including 1227747, 1227165, and some 160-baud 1993-1995 5-speed systems.
Protocol: Operates at 160 baud, which is different from the faster 8192-baud systems used in later OBD1 vehicles.
