Winch Bumper Brackets

I am building something similar to the Fab Fours winch mount and am stuck between two ideas. I can either mount it via receiver hitch in the front or put brackets in the location of the factory hooks. Does anyone know of backets that are made to fit where the factrory hooks are? Essentially they would go under and then behind the bumper. See the link below for an idea of what I am building.

The tow hooks mount with 2 bolts on each side? Those holes are up behind the bumper, so you would have to build brackets to wrap around the bumper. That might not be strong enough for winching. It would work better if you notched the bumper in those locations.

Why does it need to be external? You would end up with a much nicer build to just remove the existing bumper.

I think you might be happier if you went with a TNA winch cradle and then mounted the factory bumper over it.

I am trying to mount a Warn 8274 that I have and I liked the look of the exterior winch box. I am thinking that the receiver mount may be my best bet.

What about mounting it like the old warn winch mounts, Use the 4 bolt holes that mount the bumper into the frame horns.

I dont know that I have ever seen that. Do you happen to have a picture?
