Better shot of Ron's.
I thought about it. I don't think there's room. It's a Superwinch EXP with the integrated housing, etc. I think it's too tall (it'll hit the grill, and I'm not cutting sheet metal) and I also don't think I'd be able to reach the engagement lever- it doesn't seem to be clockable like older or cheaper (harbor freight) winches.

Well my experience has been that any winch 10k or above needs the feet forward or it will shear the bolts off, not hypothetically, it happened to everyone in our club when the winch was used in a slope.
That's how my warn 12k was.I think alot of the manufacturers recommend mounting feet forward on 10k and above winches. I fit a Warn xd9000i winch on my truck that had a DIY4x bumper, feet forward. I had to trim a little bit of the radiator support. Grill was untouched. But I see what you are saying about clocking the engagement lever. I clocked mine, but it was a Warn. My brother has a 15k warn on his truck. I think that has 6 mounting points. 4 are feet down and 2 are feet forward
