i just got my winch , now i need a bumper
any ideas,or pics should i build it or buy?
is it possable to put it behind the stock bumper ?

I've got the Warn Classic style bumper in black. If I had it to do over again, I would have gotten something different. The reason is because it's real thin and does not take much abuse.

i have pics of my KMA on my web shots...you could prolly have a local welding/fab guy make ya a similar one and save on shipping.

I had a warn x8000i mounted flat behind the bumper. I used a 1/2 steel plate. It was about 6-8 inches tall and went between the frame rails. There was a slot for the cable and it was notched on the ends for the frame. It had smaller pieces(about 3"x6") welded on the ends. These slid into the frame and were drilled to match the bumper bolts. Then I just cut out where the front license plate would be and the fairlead lined up perfect. Ijust left the controller pluged in and rolled it up under the hood. I never had a problem with the performance, but it took some patience to wind the cable nicely. Also was hard to get to the lever if really buried. Otherwise, worked great. I don't know how to post pictures or I would. Maybe I can e-mail them if you like. There is someone looking to buy it right now, if they don't would you be interested.
