Has anybody seen a winch bumper that will cover the 2" gap from my body lift that will still keep the winch in line with the frame or am I gonnahafta (WARNING:REDNECK VERBAGE) build one :weld: :grind: ? Oh ya its going on a 73 'Burb :burb: . A rear one would be cool too (not winch).

Don't yell I can't find one in the search :o !!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the input.

I am having the same problem. Don't know about the front ,but for the back I found a strip of diamond plate the exact size (got lucky) painted it to match my truck and screwed it on under the tailgate. LOOKS GREAT,

I had a warn enforcer bumper on the front my 91 that fit just fine with a 3" body lift

with my KMA wincher bumper it came with no holes drilled in the mounting plates... so I just put it where I wanted it (as high up as my 1" body lift would allow) and bolted it on. Worked great. No idea if they are still in biz... but pretty much anyone that makes custom bumpers could ship one to you this way (less work for them anyway).

Go to the photo gallery. I just loaded a side pic of it on my blazer. Not a good pic but it shows how high it sits on the body. I can't figure how to post a pic in here since the upgrade :dunno:

Rt. click the picture, and select properties. Highlight and copy(Ctrl+C) the location, and in the post, click the mountain/postcard icon and paste(Ctrl+V) the location. Should show right up.

Thanks Rat it looks :waytogo: good I'm not so worryed now.

By the way why don't you put a little lift on your rig.
