winch for k5

I've been thinking about doing that as I don't really want to bolt a bumper that weighs 150 pounds and a 100 pound winch on.

Warn is supposed to start making a bumper again for our K5's later on this year that is supposed to be simple and lighter weight. I'm waiting to see how that comes out.

just checked out the website for warn and found no info. Where did you hear about this?

I talked to the Warn reps a couple times over the last two years at SEMA and the Off-Road Expo's and I let them know I was dissapointed about the discontinuance of their old bumpers. They said they were supposed to release an updated bumper last fall but the economy changed their focus. I last spoke to them 2-3 months ago and they said most likely later this fall. You may want to call them and let them know you are interested.
