I was wondering which winch would fit between my frame rails on my 86 chevy truck, Im looking for something around 9500 lbs. to 12,000 lbs. pull, and which company makes the best all around winch. thanks fellas.

I figure you could rig something from them cranes you work on. Maybe a nice small 10-ton auxiliary or even 5-ton

I have a Warn 9.5XP mounted between the frame rails on my 90 Jimmy. Works great!!

Be sure you leave room to get to the freespool lever.

I am mounting a warn 10K behind my rear bumper and under the bed right now. It fits between the frame rails with about 2 inches to spare.
