winch/ winch bumper

not saying he is correct but you should try contacting UPS. Twice i have had something damaged, i contacted UPS and they asked me for an estimate of the damage or they contacted the seller to see if they had a replacement, if the seller does not have a replacement then they will reimburse you for the damaged part but only up to $100 if it was not insured for more. still $hitty of him to act that way towards another member

Man that sucks:shame: NOT COOL AT ALL BHINTZ:shame: !!!!

He was totaly cool just a couple months ago when I bought my bumper from him. I am sorry Jeff if my review was taken into bearing in your purchase.

i am not trying to slam on Bhintz or anything. he has done lots of past business on this forum as have i. i am not saying the winch is unusable, i am just wondering what stress a heavy blazer will put on it with the bar missing, i don't want it pulling apart. i do feel that this information should have been in the post as it has obviously been broke for a while. i will check with ups on the insurance and see who files a claim, but it has always been the shipper in the past, since they initially paid for it. the hook, yeah it does matter because anytime i want to use it, i am going to have to hook a chain to the strap, tree saver or what ever it is. and i thought the fairlead would come with the winch.

if i was you i would be slammin him i was just reccomending a call to ups to try and get some money back for the remote as it looks like it could have been damaged while shipping

fine you want to go public couldnt keep it to pms,- first of all i told him the winch was beatup and he didnt ask anything about it just how much shipping was, the part that was broken has been like that forever and has nothing to do w/ the winch performing or making it more structually sound its just there to to keep the wire down, second take it up w/ UPS about the remote I told you there was a hundred dollars worth of insurance on the package and like I said I paid for ups to package and wrap it and to bubble wrap the remote on them NOT me, and the hook sorry it wasnt the one in the pic but it works and works good I used it to winch me up lower 2 after breaking my frame so it hold just fine

brandon,
actually i talked to the ups lady today. she said the shipper has to file the claim. i have also looked at their website and didn't get a lot of info from it about claims. so, are you going to help me out on the claim for the remote? what about the fairlead, did you send it with the bumper or do you still have it? you don't, by chance, have the broken piece off the winch do you? on the hook, i didn't know the one in the picture was broke, i personally don't like the one that was with it, and will probably buy another one to use with it.
look, it is not your fault the remote is broke, neither is it mine. if you paid ups to box the winch then they didn't pack it very good. just help me to get the claim on the remote with ups done.
thanks

brandon told me today he would check with the place that packed and shipped the winch and get the claim on the remote :waytogo:
