so i order all the stuff from brothers to address my problem with braking my door glass. i readjusted my doors so they close easier (they had drooped, or more slid down about a quarter or more of an inch) i got new felt chanel liners, new weather striping, new anti-rattle strips, and two brand new glass windows with the green tint...... then snafu... im used to using junkyard window glass that already has the metal track attached to the bottom of the glass. these new windows are just the glass, no metal track.
so my question is, am i supposed to somehow put my new glass in the old metal tracks? as im looking at it it looks like i would have to bend the metal open to get the old broken bits of glass out, and then clamp it down on the new glass to hold it in place. but i definatly see myself breaking the glass if i do it that way.
id like to do this myself if i can, but if i have to pay a glass shop to do it so i dont muck it up again, thats always a possibility.
