Window Rubber Help...Please

I just bought all new window rubbers and seals from LMC. They just got here and there are no instructions. Now before you consider me a dummy, I just want to make sure there are no tricks or dumb thing I should know about. Is it as easy as just ripping the old crusty stuff out and pushing the new stuff in? Do you have to glue the new stuff? I know this seems trivial to most, but please and honest answer will do.


By the way...I already know I'm a dumb a$$

most of it is rip out the old, replace with the new
but there are some parts that require more attention, a few that i know of:
Vent window seals - MAJOR PITA to get them on... if you have them you will quickly figure out what i mean
Windshield seals - very prone to leakage in lower corners, make sure that everything is properly seatted before calling it "done"

the window seals i got from lmc were a little short, only like 1/8" when i installed them , but now they are like 1/2" too short....

As usual, LMC seals are crap!!!!!!

Yea, sometimes those seals from LMC and such aren't always worth the truble. I would of gone to a GM deal and gotten the factory seals. The extra price isn't much and will be worth it when you go to install them. When I redo my window seals I'm just going to get them from GM.
