Anyone know where i can get the outer wipes for the front window and the chrome strip for the window seals on the windshield and side windows?
thanks

I can not seem to navigate their site to find them - and the catalog has never shown up in the mail! I'll try again.
thanks

are you referring to the chrome on the vent window or the chrome on the front channel between the main and vent window?

LMC Truck has all that stuff if you need I will mail you one of my catalogs or I can try to look up the stuff for you and give you the #s you need

I'm referring to the chrome piece that fits within the outter window seals on the (big) side windows as well as on the windshield. I found only the windshield piece from Whitney.
That would be great if someone has an LMC catalog thet they wouldn't mind looking in for me. Not sure what the hell has happened to mine int he mail - been waiting for about 5 weeks now! It's an '86 Jimmy - so no vent window in the rear sides (if that matters for parts numbers)
Thanks for the help.

I have a new JCW catalog its the truck x-mas catalog the # in the bottom right corner is 437J-11 and The Pink ID# is 022721830 and the Blue program code is VLAC04.

On page 120 in the bottom left corner Windshield Gasket Then there is Locking Strip/Reveal Molding
sets and under that is part
#AJP133701N 18.95 (Chrome)
#AJP132439T 7.95 (Black)

Then on the same page bottom center is Hardtop Wether strip
D- Rear side window seal 49.95 (eACH)(L or R) #AJP486032A

lock trim rear side 17.95 (Chrome) #AJP133701N (EACH)
7.95 (bLACK) #AJP132439T (Each)

Hope this Helps /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

/forums/images/graemlins/peace.gifWhats cool in looking in the LMC catalog is they have sliding side windows for suburbans and I have never seen those before, they are going on the x-mas list

When Jc-Whitney says $140 for a window seal kit, do they mean one door or two doors?

I screwed up and when you said side windows I was looking for the ones for the top not the doors. Let me look /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

Now I'm confused..
Side (as in Big Windows on the side of the truck) - not door windows.
All I need it teh chrome strip for it. It's not leaking or anything - just cosmetic. thanks

/forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gifI gave you the right info in the first place I didnt see any thig that was $140 /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I have no personal experience with the "chrome" window strips (I know what pieces you are talking about, can't recall the real name) but if they are aftermarket, I think I'd stay away from them.

From what I HAVE seen of aftermarket chromed plastic trim stuff, it doesn't last long at all before it starts to look bad.

I just went with black so I didn't have to deal with the discoloration or peeling of the chrome ones.

Not that you asked, but I don't think cosmetically there is much difference, especially since both were stock pieces.
