window washer pump

I know this is trivial compared to most problems but I was out replacing that little pump, as i have never had such nice comodities on my truck. It was really simple except that it only runs in the off possion. I can not figure out why! any ideas?

Maybe the previous owner took the wiper switch apart and didn't hook it up right. You might want to check your wiring also.

The White wire should be +12V all the time. The Pink wire gets grounded when the wash button is pressed. Check to see if the pink wire is grounded all the time due to a short somewhere or a bad switch.
