i have a 79 Blazer and I put a new washer wiper motor on. The pump doesn’t work. I got B+ on the white wire connected to ign pwr. There is a pink wire that does not get power (when unplugged) even when the switch is in the on position. When I plug in the pump with the switch on I get power on both wires all the time regardless of windshield washer switch position. There is a solenoid in the pump that it suppose to click (I think) when the washer switch is activated but nothing happens there is continuity between the washer pump terminals and when I plug it in, both wires are showing 12 v with the switch on with or without the washer switch being activated. Can someone tell me what the wires are suppose to do and when. Thanks. Z

So after 25+ days, I assume that you found an answer somewhere else.
But the white wire should be your ground while the pink is power. I can't tell you of the top of my head, which wire is controlled by the switch.
