Windshield wiper issues

Got some rain yesterday and had to use my wipers.

If I turn on the delay wiper, The wipers will run continously as if I had the switch set to low. The only way to stop them is to use the mist button. They will function normally if I switch them to low or high, but will only turn off if I bump the mist button. The delay function no longer acts as a delay, they just run like it is set to low. Any ideas?

Mine started acting up when the plug was a tad loose to the delay module at the base of the steering column. Also the pins had a small bit of corrosion on them.

II'l check it out. They started acting right Saturday morning, put went back to acting crazy a few short minutes later. It seems like it may be a connection issue
