Well got my top bracket made for my windstar fans. Will do something very similar on the bottom. I have a bunch of regular 30 amp relays but will probably get a larger continuous duty relay and run through a 3 way switch and a thermal switch.

Looks cool... I might do this someday. Either do that or go with a 9 blade fan out of a Duramax truck, and get an adapter machined to bolt the fan to the clutch. So many ideas and so many decisions.. ahh my head hurts
I really like the windstars. A friend has a tall deck 427 and had the big old school bus fan on it. He couldn't let go slow for very long without overheating. Put these in and can idle and lug it all day now. I had these in my buggy and never got hot ever, plus you can turn off for deep water crossings or whatnot.

Cool...I'm gonna have to change out my radiator for a new one. It leaks like crap and I've put in so much stop leak crap, it's probably got about 50/50 antifreeze and alumiseal and the leaks seem to stop but not for long.
Thinking of getting one of those Flexlite or Go Cool radiators, I see they're wider and better cooling efficiency, but that's all I know about them. Might need the angle iron to make new brackets....

These fans sure cool my friends TD 427 better than the school bus fan he had on it before.
So the top allen head bolts mount into the fan shroud?
yeah I used five .25 x .75 long allen head bolts to hold the fam to the angle iron with flat washers and lock nuts on the inside.
