This may be of more interest to the diesel guys than anyone else.

But I found a place that makes grille covers for our trucks. I plan on getting one to see how well it fits. Tired of cardboard and crap.

I have one for my f350. Never have run it. Add some dirt behind it and presto giant peace of sandpaper.
 
My '85 Burb came with one of those quilted grille covers,the previous owner or whoever owned it before him got it I guess,when it was in WA state...doubt I'd ever use it,I have never had poor heat in my pickup,as long as your driving,the diesel gets as hot or hotter than any gas engine and the heater will drive you out of it--if you let it idle though,you will notice the heat isn't as "hot"..my diesel VW was the same way,diesels just run cold at low rpms I guess..
