Winters Shifter aka Sidewinder Lack Of Reverse Light Switch Option Fix.

I finally found a solution to this issue. Kinda anal and i like everything to work as it should being the Jimmy is a street truck DD currently. RADesigns makes a nice billet bracket that has a micro switch in it so when the shifter is in R it depresses the micro switch to trigger a ground on a relay so your Reverse lights are only on in reverse. I was dreading going the simple toggle switch route so i am rather happy with this fix.

No. I sent him an email about the problem i had and he made something to cure the issue.

Would the Lokar kit have worked?

The biggest problems with the Lokar kit it either reverse or neutral safety switch, and it mounts by the transmission in the elements. Winters sells the neutral safety, but not the reverse lights switch. I would like to have both switches on the shifter.
