getting ready to go away for a bit and had to get my stuff organised and i had a friend help today.

dug out my first real true k30 truck i have had in storage for around 7 years give or take a day.

1977 k30 47,xxx miles orignal with few updates like the front end. 6" lift 3" body lift and 454/4l80-e/205.

had to install the motor for storage and also swap out the bad rside fender and hood . used all gm sheet metal i found for it years ago.

the hood alone was #8 a guy ordered from a dealer till he got 1 with no shipping dents/dings or torn box. he never finished project and i got the hood for 200 .

but here a few pics just for chit chat. when i get all settled in to my new life this will be a major project i need to finish.

oh ya 205/55/16 subaru tires on stock 8 lug steels. to give 1/2 " clearence in 7 ft door opening in garage. :thumb:

I remember this issue. I have it somewhere here at home, too. I remember it was running 35" Boggers and the truck got stolen from this owner who built it. It was never found or recovered.

Cool Brett, I've always loved a long bed lifted....so cool.
However I personally like the pre80 look.

What are the future plans for the truck?

I remember that truck too. I had an 84 that was pretty close to that. IIRC, the truck got totaled, some dipsh!t pulled out in front of the guy and he rolled it.

Need to finish that truck Brett, that it already a nice truck.
