The wipers on this truck won't shut off or won't work depending on what they feel like on the particular day I need them. Is there a recall for this? I have read it's the wiper relay module.

Also, the shift lever is extremely hard to move in all positions. I find myself using the steering wheel as a pivot point for more leverage. This can't be right...

I also need door pins, do they still make the greasable ones for this year?

If you can help, please do.

The wiper problem is the circuit board for the wipers. It is located in the black box on the firewall. You can pick up a new one at you local auto parts store in the help section for about 25-30 bucks.

There WAS a recall on the wiper...not sure if it's still active though. Give your local GM dealership a call. If not as mentioned above there's been alot of fixes for it.

Don't the shifters on these trucks use a cable? If it's really hard to move, sounds like a dirty cable to me. Where has the truck been its whole life?
