Wiper arm compatibility question...

Are the 73-84, 85-87 and newer wiper arms compatible, i got the ones with the bladeon the edge for the wiper but they are so messed up and i want to get the ones with the nipple on the edge for the wiper mounting 85-87 arms and i only need to know if they will fit thats all.

I just noticed today that my 86s wiper setup is completely different form my 83, so i wonder how interchangable they are as well. I know my k5 has the squirters on the blade rather than the cowl.

I put the arms from my 89k5 on my 83 k20. I have no use for the washer squirter.

i pretty much dont care bout the washer i only need to find out if the mounting clamp per say is the same size as the older models, but i think jekquistk5 gave me the answer, are thoose the ones with the nipple or the hook at the end jekquistk5?

Yah it had the little metal clip on it. You just snap on or use a flatblade screwdriver to take em off.

Mine are on blade (not sure if it's stock, came that way) but the hoses are all screwed up. I need to fix them since with all the road grime, snow and ice that likes to form on the windshield, I need the squirters.

They interchange. For a while, I was driving a friends '84 C10. I noticed one wiper was the peg style, while the other was the flat style.

The old ones are off had to cut them and hammer them out in a way, ill hit the junk yards maybe tomorrow if not classicparts has them for cheap
