Is there such a thing?

I just replaced the module in my 1999 K2500 due to the wipers not turning off  Now I'd like to know how to make the wipers park in a normal down position... My wipers seem to be up more than normal but I've never had one of these trucks before and this is how I bought it. The drivers side wiper blade goes off the windshield when it's in use, however the passanger side seems fine. I noticed the splines for the arms are keyed so that idea is out, what else could it be. Is there an adjustment somewhere in the wiper gearbox?

This problem existed before I replaced the module.

Before i knew about the module that always goes bad, i got mad one time when it was pouring rain and my wipers wouldn't work. I yanked real hard on my drivers side wiper and i felt something break. It caused similar problems to what you describ but the wiper did not go off the windshield, but in the park position my drivers side wiper was to high. If you take off the wiper cowl you will see the 3 bolts that bolt down where the wiper arms spline on. The part that the wiper arm splines to, that is held down with three bolts is made of plastic and i broke mine when i pulled on it. It allowed the wiper arm to move to mutch and bind up and never go down all the way. I hope this helps,
I replaced mine with parts of an 88 parts truck that i have, and it totally fixed my problem. Its all part off the mechanical linkage under the wiper cowl. As far as there being an adjustment on the wiper motor i doubt it but i dont know for sure.

I don't recall those arms being keyed to only go on one way.

They are splined but there is a key integrated into the splines. It sucks...

I think the previous owner yanked the wiper as described above because my wipers used to act up until two days ago when I replaced the module. I've only had the truck for a few weeks and I replaced the module the first day we had rain.

I'm going to pull the cowl again, what exactly needed to be replaced? I didn't see any broken parts when I looked in there but it did look like the pushrod for the drivers side was bent, I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be like that or not and it was really cold/dark when I was looking.

I pulled the plastic cowl again. There is an adjustment for the arms. There are two 10mm nuts on the pushrods for the wipers you must losten first but the mechanism is slotted. Fixed my problem in less than a half hour. :D

Ya,i forgot about that adjustment on the push rods where you can loosen the nuts and slide it. I know what your talking about, Its just been along time since i fixed mine.
