On my 84 my drivers side wiper arm took a dump and fell apart, what year can I get the arms with hooks (I read ford's have a tear I can use) VS the flat part on factory arms?

Later OBS ford trucks used the j hook wiper arms and they fit our splined stubs. What they don’t have is spray nozzles. The arms are 3/8 instead of 1/4 so you’ll need to file down a notch for the nozzle to clip on to. You can’t use the ford oem arms because they don’t have enough pressure on them but the dorman aftermarket replacement does have the same spring that the gm arms do. They appear identical for the spring at least.

Exact year/model from dorman would be good to know. Whenever you get around to getting some that is.

I thought 73-84 were the flat arm style and 85-91 have the round stub sticking out perpendicular to the arm.
You are right. I have posted a picture of those to show the difference.

We also sell the parts for both of these models. I will include the links below.
