swapping over the non delay wipers to the delay wipers, was wondering if the finned box with 5 wires on one side and 7 wires on the other side is the delay box its mounted under the steering wheel, thanks much

Sounds right. Now, sorting out wiring that thing is beyond me, as I've only ever done aftermarket boxes. If you end up making it work, post up some pix and a list of what years are involved and maybe even a write-up? :ears:

delay wipers

I depends on what year the truck is some are just plug and play all you need is the timer module and the delay wiper switch,Unplug the harness from the old switch and plug that end into the module and the other end of the module to the new delay switch and done.My 77 blazer was not plug and play the wiper switch is different than the newer models and the motor is different although it could be wired to work.

I went to an after market type less head pounding!! and less expensive too cost me 10.00 (ebay) verses iirc 80.00 for the delay module and 20 something for the delay switch.

One thing Ill tell you is the wipers are switched on the negative side not the positive side.
