When I got my truck the washer fluid reservoir was missing and the intermittent settings didn't work. I picked up a reservoir at the junkyard yesterday and installed. The intermittent setting started working, but, now it's stuck on the slowest setting when turned off. I'm thinking it's the stalk on the column or the intermittent control box. What say ye?

Also, is it easily doable to put a non-cruise stalk in place of a cruise stalk?

Just realized that the switch and stalk are two separate things. I thought the switch was in the stalk. :doah:

My wipers like to randomly decide to stay on slow speed. Twisting the control to the "fast" wipe position (extreme opposite of off) and quickly back to off fixes it 100% of the time.

One of the least important problems on my plate, but at some point I'm going to tackle the wipers. Even when working correctly there is a very narrow window between slow delay and no delay. Plan to see if I can fix it all at once.

So I finally fixed this yesterday. By reading through older threads I was pretty sure it was the wiper delay module. Discovered the delay module while doing some other wiring so I looked up the part number, AC 15598496. You can get them new on Amazon for $38, but thought I'd run to the pick-n-pull and try to snag one. Took some time, but I went through the whole yard and pulled three of them for less than half the price of a new one. The first one I plugged in worked and my wipers no longer swipe every three minutes.

Cool! I would have guessed the park portion of the wiper motor, but if the wipers swipe intermittently, I guess that makes sense.

I ran into similar with my cruise control. Had to push the button twice, and once set sometimes the cruise would be on/off, instead of nice and smooth. Floor it, then let all the way off, and just kept that cycle up. Swapped the cruise box, problems gone.

No idea how these things can do that, must me some kind of component in them that can corrode just enough or something.
