Wiper motor conversion idea

About to have to go there. I don’t have instagram. Someone who does, can you get the part number and who/where to order it from?

Best I can tell, he traced the original out on cardboard, then layed that on the new motor. Then used that to transfer to aluminum and cut it out.

I’m still thinking of this. Those Cherokee units are $30-$90, and plentiful. Which is more than I can say for square body units.
Plus, the washer unit would have to be dealt with( it would have to be remedied anyway) as my washer bottle and sprayer were all wrecked long before I owned Chloe. I didn’t like the quart-sized bottle the squares had back then anyway.
At least his proof-of-concept looks like it might work.

88-94 gmt400 washer bottle is bigger and has 12v pump . Drill 1 new hole and bolts in in place of stocker on 80's .

Can the bracket be removed off the stock wiper motor setup? Any of the pics I can find don't really show how it's attached.

Wondering if that may form a basis for swapping other motors in. 1990's P30's used a different wiper motor but apparently used the same controls as squarebodies. Wiper motor to cowl mount is not cast, so cutting and welding to adapt should be pretty simple.

The later Corvette motors have been used for retrofit but that involves some figuring out of wiring as those were controlled via BCM.

Interested in keeping delay.

Surprised they don't include a modified arm to drive the wiper assembly with the wiper bracket.
