I have a wiper motor haere at work that has been repaired by a local electric motor rebuilder. I can't get it to work. There is no plug just spade connectors. The terminals are marked H L I'm guessing for low and high. P I'm guessing for park and S wich i'm not sure of and X that i'm not sure of. The body of the motor is grounded but i'm not sure if it needs a wired ground. There was no wire on the X terminal before. Can anybody make sense of this? do I need a ground int he S terminal?

Thanks, I'm goin for dinner and i'll look further when I get back.

L = Low?
H = High?
P = Park? I think should have constant power.
S = ???
X = ??? There was never a wire on this terminal

Maybe these will help. The letters on this do not match up with the one you have, but maybe it will make sense.

You didn't mention if this is the old model with the washer solenoid.

Thanks guys I got it figured. I had it right.The motor that had just been rebuilt was screwed. It was wired right. I was just getting mixed up with the park circuit.
