I need a wiper motor/wiper motor assembly that will fit a 79 Blazer! The motor is dying in mine, it will run for 5-10 minutes, get jerky, then stop in the middle of the windshield! It is getting dangerous to drive in the rain, and I can't afford a new one. It sucks to have to pull over and wait for half an hour for the motor to cool off/unstick if its raining real hard!

I got on laying around from an '87 K5. I am not sure if it'll fit you truck, but if you want it it's yours for the cost of shipping.

The wiper motor that I have dosen't work. I tested it before I was gonna send it to you but it does the same thing as yours. It works for about 5 minutes and then it stopps.

Thanks for trying to help anyways! /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
Anybody else have one laying around?

i have a new rebuilt one that i bought last septmber, it has the pump and motor mounted on the same unit. Is this what you need?

Jeremy, do yourself a favor and waltz down to Autozone. They sell a remanufactured one VERY reasonable. I did the same and am very satisfied. Wipers and windshield washer pump work very well now.

well, with cost and shipping, it would be pretty close to the price of $40 my local autozone quoted me. I didn't think they would have one in stock, but they do, and it comes with a lifetime warranty. I guess I know where a good chunk of my paycheck is going. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif But it is better than Napa, which was 60 dollars! /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif
