Wiper problems

If this has been answered and I didn't find it then sorry. But here's what I have and my problem.
84 k10 Suburban
I put some washer fluid in the tank today and noticed the hose was undone. I hooked it up and tried it out. Anytime the wipers are running the washers are pulsating. They hung on for a second. Trying to figure out if it would be the switch on the dash or the wiper motor itself. I just finished my sm465 swap today. I really don't think it would be related but I could be wrong

Not certain, but I had similar issues and just replaced the pump assembly. They can be had for $55 on ebay and maybe Amazon. Mine didn't want to pump at all, then when it started it would never stop.
