Wipers work well, except when you put them in high they stop working. Would this lend towards the module under the column? I feel like this has happened before and that is what my problem was....

You could also look into the wiper arm linkage as a problem as well. The weather in the part of the country you live in can corrode the linkage.

Anyone have any additional information on the wiring for the high and low. I took apart the cowl an lubed the wiper arms etc. I also swapped in a new wiper motor form one of my other trucks that I parted out.

Basic problem, when the wipers are switched to high they just freeze in the position they are in. The delay and low speed work as they should.

If you have delay module, unplug module and plug the two plugs together. It is just plugged in at the base of the dash. That way it is a straight path from switch to motor. Also there have been mention of wires damaged by the rotation in the column.

So I by passed the delay module and no success, I have another good known wiper motor, plugged that in no success.

Whats next?

Must be the blinker stalk?

Yes i would do the stalk first then its the motor itself

Did you check to make sure that the motor has a good ground, it has its own ground strap

I replaced the motor already. I dont remember any ground strap. From what I remember it was rubber mounted with three small bolts. It must have a good ground as low and delay work just fine

I would bet on it being a broken wire for high speed, or the switch is bad for high.
I say this since 2 motors do the same thing.
The ground strap is on one of the mounting bolts. It's brass, but can have paint on it.

Is there a way to test if it is the stalk wire for high speed or if it is the wiper switch wire for high speed. The stalk is not that bad of a job, but that dam wiper switch is a pain in the ass

Find which wire connects to the high-speed circuit. Apply voltage to that wire (and/or measure whether 12V is coming from the switch on that wire). That will tell you which half of the wiring contains the problem.

I don't know off hand the pinout of that connector, but any good service manual should have that detail.
