What type of crimpers are correct for this type of terminal? I don’t think the average crimping pliers will fold the tabs over cleanly.

This is the set I like best, but I found them for closer to $100 when I bought them. American Auto Wire used to sell them. https://www.amazon.com/Metri-Pack-P...PZVB7QJ51X3&psc=1&refRID=44K0MAA99PZVB7QJ51X3 I've had the best results for secure crimps with that one. Especially if you make male and female plugs with them The male spaces are much more difficult to crimp with the other tools.

Dang, I see what you mean. Definitely something you’d need to justify, not really a single job pair of pliers.
If I was going to try something for a single use, I would get the second set I posted. I use this style of terminal a lot because you can use them with factory terminals so I'm okay with the investment..
