My valve is leaking out of the dealeo thingy that I took a pic of .

Any ideas to why!? And how do I fix it!? I tried to stretch the spring and shim the spring but she still hisses.

The second pic is just to show that there is a hole in that thing... I assume it is a relief valve? :dunno:

Must be a Canadian thing.:D

I think your right about a relief valve of some type.....Is there a seat of somekind it goes against?

Yeah there is. Hard to get a pic of though. On that hex nut at the end of the spring is rubber that sits against the seat.

Well it's there for a reason:D......Does the leak change as you adj the pressure up or down?

Inert gas right? Plug it with the proper brass plug. Hose or regulator diaphragm will burst worst case. Big deal.

Confined space venting at a high rate could be dangerous of course. Not sure why else it would be an issue. Flame away if there is something I'm missing.

I shimmed the one in my CO2 regulator to bump up the pressure, not worried about it.

a new regulator ain't really all that spendy as opposed to the pain in the ass of refilling your tank from leaking 2-3 times faster than usual or worse finding it empty when you need it.:dunno:

This...reg's aren't that spendy.

No for sure! I will get a new one.
I've had this one since I was 18... 29 years!

I guess it did ok!
I went to get one this afternoon but my hometown didn't have it! Big surprise.
