1974 body on a 1977 frame.

Looking for a switched hot out of the bulkhead to wire up my ls swap harness. Is there no key ON hot? Tested wires and they are as follows from top to bottom.
Old distributor wire constant hot.
Hot in key start.
(Red) I hooked the battery+ to this. Might be wrong idk.
(Black) on side of red. Hot then off in key start.
(Tan) constant hot
(Blue) 0 volts.

I believe The red should be the one that hooks to your LS harness, I’ll check what wire I used when I get home

I must be getting some wierd back feed or something. When I check continuity between red and distributor wire. Its key off/on and key start which is what I need. But when I test voltage is shows 12v all the time.

Just tested continuity on all of them and I have nothing with the key off and continuity between red and all them in run and start. Except the one that switches off on start.

It should be a big pink one, but my K5 is an 87 Might be different depending on the year of yours.
It’s the big pink wire 2nd row from the left 2nd wire from the top .

Thanks for taking time to help. I finally figured it out. I used the top one that was from the distributor to power the ECU. The 2nd down for the starter.
