i run some pretty dainty sticker stuff thru a cheap brother p-touch for tagging stuff, etc...

I use a handheld from walmart. i think its a brother also. Works fine but you want to get plastic tape not the paper tape. The labels are a bit heat sensitive. Most of them are a thermal printing tech so they can discolor in high heat areas.

I tried the thermal labels they just turned dark being near a heat gun. Decided to try some clear heat shrink and a printed paper label. Hope it lasts a good long while.
