I'm looking to see if anyone can tell me the part number or name of the wire that goes from the alternator, to some big wire loom next to the firewall, then appears to come out of that loom and go up to the junction block on the firewall. This is the wire that provides power from the alternator to the vehicle.

Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!

Just make one....?:dunno:

They are usually undersized to start with, if you put on a hi output alt you could fry it.

Thanks for the advice, I did just that. Went to NAPA and got 3 feet of 8 AWG wire with two ends and just added it to the current system.

Got an increase of .07 volts at rear window motor connector, .13 volts at the headlights and .12 volts at the junction block.

All in all not a bad mod for around $12.
