can a 78 blazer wirering be put in a 85 blazer with no wirering? thanks

Some of it will work but some of it won't. In 85 the distributor had a minimal amount of computer control like knock sensors and stuff like that but the old harness won't have those hookups. Other things that might be different could be steering column stuff. Delay wipers and cruise and the like. For all the headache you'd probably be better off going with a harness from the correct year donor. Some of it should work though.

Change the Dist. to a standard HEI. Eliminate the limited 'puter. The feed back carb will still function fine.
