Wires to transfer case...

Can someone please, please tell me what the hell the two wires are for that plug in to the top of the transfer case? They go from there up into the shift boot on the floor.

I dont believe I have a light, just the mechanical indicator on the transfer case shifter...

theres a light in your speedo that lights up when you are in 4x4, or with my 203 in lock.

dont know what you got but my 88 burb has a 4x4 light in the instrament cluster. maybe yours is burned out

Ok gotcha it was unplugged before looks like for a long time so I just threw it in 4 and it does look like the bulb is burned out, thanks guys.
