I have a 1974 Jimmy. LMC does not offer 1974 replacement bezels, so I have purchased a 1975 bezel to install in my truck. They are almost identical other than the opening for wiper switch, which is slightly different between the years (different dimensions). So to use the 75 bezel and still have the truck look right, I thought I would just swap out my wiper switch (which is a non-intermittent in my case) with a 1975 switch. However, the (1974) switch has three prongs coming out the back, whereas the 1975 has four. Does anyone know what the difference is? Wiring diagrams would be appreciated is anyone has them. Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm not sure but, I believe the prongs are just different resistance for wiper speed. The 74 has on and faster. I think the only difference on 75 is it has on, fast and even faster.

Should be able to splice in and make it work with an empty prong.
